I am deeply inspired by the richness of our inner worlds, and infinitely curious in their exploration. If the most vulnerable parts of ourselves could feel even 10% more care and compassion, we then might suddenly find that we are 10% more free to be ourselves.
After two career changes within the corporate world, I realized that my sense of fulfillment came not only from my sense of achievements, but from cultivating deep, authentic relationships within my inner world and the people in my life.
I learned about expanding emotional range and capacity through breathwork, and I increased my body and inner awareness through receiving and studying the modality of Hakomi somatic mindfulness. As a result, I befriended intimacy within myself and the world around me.
My approach to Hakomi is rooted in a deep respect for each individual’s unique journey. By combining gentle, mindfulness-centered techniques with body-centered therapy, I help clients access the wisdom of their bodies and minds.
Together, we explore and release outdated patterns, limiting beliefs, and emotional blockages that may be hindering personal growth and well-being. Through this collaborative and empowering process, my clients experience newfound clarity, increased self-awareness, and a greater sense of inner harmony.
I also offer somatic couples counseling sessions, which focus on improving communication and discovering the untapped well of love within a relationship. You know when you’re talking about a sensitive topic with your partner and you’re feeling disconnected and stuck, again? Turns out there’s another way to have that conversation while feeling more connected in the process.
Outside of counseling, I spend my time singing and playing guitar, studying various movement modalities and contact improv, deepening my friendships and relationships, and being an active community member in the Boulder area.
